Christmas in Selah

For our third Christmas celebration of the season, we headed to Selah, Washington, and the home of Chris and Sharon (a.k.a. PumPum and Mamu). We were joined by Sharon's parents, LaRue an Ginny, Uncle Lincoln and Kate, Aunt Sally, Aunt Jessica, Uncle Josh, and cousins Jackson and June, in addition to four dogs, Riley, Zinger, Toby and of course, Sherman. Below are some pictures highlighting some of the events:

Magnus and Jackson had a ball on their ponies.

Lots of Wii was played with Uncle Lincoln.

On Christmas Eve, we went to church for a service that primarily had guests singing Christmas carols. Magnus lasted all of two minutes before getting antsy, so Dee took him out into the lobby. After a while had passed, I went to see how they were doing, but they were no where to be found. It was then that I heard a familiar thumping coming from upstairs. I followed the sound up the stairs and found Magnus having a blast running the hallways of the church, with Dee in tow. We spent the rest of the service running the hallways together, before returning to sing one final Christmas song while Magnus was mesmerised, distracted, and therefore, still, by the candles being lit up around him.

The only way we could get Magnus to take a picture with us was if we brought the horse into the picture too (otherwise, we could not get him off of the horse!)

The annual Glogg ceremony.

Magnus loved playing with his new walking duck that Santa brought.

Magnus and his cousins, Jackson and June, enjoyed the bin of wrapping paper as much as the presents they held!

We went on lots of walks.

Sir Trenton Storm made his debut as a carriage pony much to our delight.Somehow Jessica ended up pulling the carriage after Sir Trenton Storm was tuckered out.

Piano playing was a big hit, especially as a decoy to avoid bedtime, and FIRST thing in the morning, when only a toddler felt it was fitting to be awake.

Magnus had his first pony ride on Sir Trenton Storm.
