Eight months

It's nothing short of mindboggling to be posting pictures of Magnus on his eight month "birthday." Our little boy is growing up at warp speed and if Dee and I weren't so completely delighted by each new stage we'd almost wish he'd slow it down for fear that he'll be heading to college before we know it! To say that Magnus is full of curiosity these days is an understatement. Never one for too much cuddling, he is Mr. Busy at all hours of the day. It is no wonder then that he has began to crawl--apparently mom and dad weren't fast enough so he's learned to get where he wants to go without us! Taking even more after his dad, Magnus is now an official member of the Carnivore Club, devouring pureed chicken like the best of them! He's taken to feeding himself Cheerios when they don't stick to his finger and he can manuveur his pincer grasp into his mouth and release (that's the tricky part!) We're hearing lots of "momma" and "dadda" although as much as we'd like to convince ourselves that he knows what he's saying I'm pretty sure he's saying it to everything around him. He's in a solid sleeping routine (at night that is, we're still working on the naps) and sleeps from 6 PM til 6 AM, so Dee and I are finally waking without bags under our eyes! Yeah for eight months!!
