Two days later we were bringing baby home! We laughed as we headed down the elevator and out the hospital door. It was strangely surreal to be going home with a son in tow, and we giggled talking about how this little person would forever be a part of our lives. Dad cautiously drove home in the right lane, and mom sat in the backseat smiling from ear to ear at the miniature boy who slumped in his carseat next to her. Ya-Ya was awaiting their arrival with camcorder in hand for this monumental moment.
