Over the coming days, we had numerous visitors all eager to meet the newest member of our clan. Friends and family were so generous and helpful preparing us dinners, bringing us food, taking Sherman for walks, and holding the baby while we tried to catch up on some much needed sleep. It was incredible how many hours out of the day we simply stared at this new little life of ours. Magnus was so full of personality from the get-go. He liked to sleep with his arms up by his ears, and he rolled onto his left side to the amazement of his family within the first week in his co-sleeper. Mom thinks maybe it was perhaps due to her sleeping on her left side for 9 months! He was an incredibly loud sleeper, much to the surprise of his mom and dad, who could barely get a wink of sleep inbetween checking to see that his noises were perfectly normal and his frequent feeds. And quite the eater he was--quickly gaining back his birth weight and some within the first two weeks!
