Alden Six Months

It is hard to believe that Alden turned six months this month. At his well-child exam he weighed in at 18 1/2 pounds and 26 1/2 inches! I feel like I am clearing out his clothes drawers every few weeks as he continues to outgrow everything that I put in there (thank goodness for older brothers!) He is such a happy baby, and amused by so many things around him, especially his brother, and particularly when Magnus bounces (which is often) and talks to him up close. He loves to chew on his fingers and play with his feet, and won't spend more than a few seconds on his stomach before flipping himself over. We've discovered that he is quite willful, like his brother, when it comes to resisting sleep, but in our attempts to begin sleep training earlier than we did with Magnus, we've had many more moments of success leading us to believe he just might be the sleeper that we had hoped for:) We love to watch him watch his brother in awe, and see the two of them forming a bound with one another already.

Magnus adores Alden, and loves to give him hugs and kisses. He gets this intense look on his face when he hugs his brother, which I think Alden has learned to brace himself when he sees it coming.
