Halloween

On Halloween, Magnus, his grandma YaYa and I went to the University Village for some trick or treating. All of the shops opened their doors for a more or less toddler trick or treating event in the late afternoon. It was a riot to see hundreds of toddlers dressed up, going shop to shop, filling up their bags with candy, stickers, small toys and trinkets. Initially, Magnus was a little skeptical, not wanting to hand a stranger his new skeleton bag, but he soon understood that the person was not going to take it away, but put something inside it instead! Towards the end of our trick or treating, Magnus was gently holding out his bag in anticipation of what was to come!

Magnus holds my hand as we go trick or treating.

Magnus checks out his loot and discovers candy corn.

Magnus' first taste of candy, which he quickly decided he liked.

He was a pretty cute kangaroo if I do say so myself!

After trick or treating at the University Village, we stopped by the fire station to see Dee who was working. Then we were on to great grandma's for a quick hello before calling it a night.
