This weekend, Dee and I spent our first night away from Magnus...ever. Ami took care of Magnus while we were at a friend's wedding in Eastern Washington. The wedding was a blast, but the highlight of the weekend for me was the opportunity to sleep in--in fact, I had been looking forward to it for weeks!! Magnus enjoyed his 24 hours with grandma so much that apparently he talked off and on all night, and couldn't wait to get up at 5:15 a.m. and play some more! Ami was a good sport about her early mornign wake up call, and soaked up this added time with her grandson who reminded her so much of Dee when he was little.
